Springfield Fun Run
Well where do I start, it was just the perfect morning. We had such a great Flakers team for this event and it made it all the more fun :) It was a very hot morning and a tough course so I am amazed at the amount of PB's.
I have probably missed someone but I have the following people down for a PB: Chris Stainer, Lisa Cheer, Wendy McGuigan, Tracey Crowhurst, Karen Robinson, Tyler Lynam, Alaistair Miering, Mandy Broome, Lauren Broome, Connor McGuigan, Holley Watts, Brendan Stainer, Samuel Robinson, Gayle Zivec! That is just so fantastic.
We even had a couple of podium winners with Chris Stainer and Nicole Fels both getting 2nd in their age groups and winning a 3 month gym membership!
The kids 1k was fantastic also with all the kids running so well, Riley Blair absolutely blitzed it and was the 1st Flaker Boy and Ashlee McGuigan was the 1st Girl home :) 2nd boy was Lochie Fels and 2nd girl Jemma Crowhurst. We then had a great time in the water park with me have the most spectacular stack hee hee..... I bet I feel that tomorrow :) Absolutely can't wait until the next event and hopefully it will be bigger and better. Keep checking for photos I will get them all uploaded as soon as I can.
